Every year for the 24th of July we head up to great wild Wyoming with the Johnsons! We stay in these cute little cabins that are on Freemont Lake which is right by the gateway to the Wind Rivers. It is very beautiful and a lot cooler up there! We were happy to miss the 103 degree weather in Utah. Here is the Johnson clan minus the brothers/wives/babies that are at dental school...we missed you guys! We just went to the Pinedale ward and here we are in our Sunday best on the dock. Thank you so much Lynn and Ruthann for such a fun trip!!Brad and I hanging on the boat...trying to get some sun...I think we are hopeless... Here is Brad getting some sweet air on the wake board. I was going to post my wake boarding pics but I didn't want to show him up...yeah right...way to go Brad!!Here is a new sport for me that I picked up when I started boating with the Johnsons. It is called scurfing or landlocking or probably lots of other names. You are basically standing on a surfboard and you get up with a rope and then get to the sweet spot where you let go of the rope and surf!! Apparently it is illegal in Utah, but you know, everything is legal in Wyoming! And, voila! I am surfing behind a boat, so fun and you don't get nearly as sore as you do with other behind boat activities. Here is Camille, our little niece,Brad's sister Andrea's oldest...and yes, she is as cute as she looks!! Here is my wonderful sister-in-law Kim with her boys Michael, Richard and Issac. I love those boys!!

Can ya tell that Michael is Thad's son? Hmmm? Thad already has him going on the no smiling for pictures rule! Good Job Thad! We missed being there, but had our own fun here, starting new traditions. We'll see you guys there in four years! Yeah!!
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I haven't tried the surfing yet. And, I didn't know it was illegal in Utah. My brothers might be interested in that info.
Nice pictures! Looked like lots of fun! Love ya, KIM
Look at you the little surfer. Tad's sister and husband do that but I don't think they ever let go.
I'm so impressed you posted.
Wow! The surfing looks hard! I'll have to try that sometime.
Hey, I love your photos from Fremont. Will you help me set up a blog?
xoxo mom
That picture of Richard is priceless. I couldn't stop laughing. That was a fun trip.
